Marie Ann Giongo
Co-Founder & Concept Director
Perspective
Marie Ann Giongo serves in a limited internal role at ERX, contributing perspective, observation, and conceptual development.
Her role is strictly internal and administrative. She does not provide investment advisory services, financial planning advice, insurance recommendations, tax advice, legal advice, securities solicitation, client consulting, or advisory services of any kind.
Background
Marie is a graduate of Temple University's College of Allied Health Professions and a licensed physical therapist, with prior clinical experience alongside physicians and healthcare professionals. That experience fostered an appreciation for structured documentation, disciplined processes, and clear communication within complex professional environments.
The Origin of ERX SOAP™
During internal discussions of the ERX planning process, Marie observed similarities between the firm's organizational framework and the SOAP note methodology commonly used throughout healthcare:
Subjective — individual circumstances and perspectives
Objective — observable facts and data
Assessment — evaluation and analysis
Plan — coordinated next steps
That observation contributed to the naming convention adopted for ERX SOAP™. The underlying framework and methodology were developed by Michael J. Giongo; Marie recognized a healthcare-based organizational structure that aligned with the framework and helped shape its terminology.
Conceptual Contribution
Marie's contribution to ERX centers on conceptual development, organizational perspective, and the communication of complex ideas through clear frameworks and language. Her role remains limited to internal conceptual support and does not involve the provision of advisory services.
Clarity often begins with recognition.
