Welcome to ERX Wealth Partners
At ERX, we work with physicians, founders, and families with one focus: creating wealth strategies designed to last.
We don’t sell products — we work to bring clarity. We don’t chase trends — we take a disciplined approach to long-term planning.
What we offer didn’t begin in a boardroom. It began through experience, challenges overcome, and a personal mission to help protect what matters most.
This is our story. It’s the foundation of how we approach every relationship.
This is our story.

Our Story
“Someone is sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago.”
— Warren Buffett
Our story began not in comfort, but in challenge — where discipline, resilience, and clarity became not just survival skills, but the foundation for a different kind of strategy.
Forged in Adversity
At Syracuse University, Mike earned an athletic scholarship — while carrying the demands of Division I football, academic pressure, and the heavier burden of caring for his mother during end-stage renal failure.
It wasn’t balance.
It was survival.
Most saw a scholarship athlete. Few knew he was barely holding it all together.
Those years didn’t just test Mike. They built a quiet strength — the kind forged only when no one is coming to save you.
Philadelphia Eagles: Discipline That Endures
From the time he was six years old, Mike set his sights on the NFL — and stayed committed to that goal.
In 1988, he signed a contract with the Philadelphia Eagles.
An injury ended his football chapter sooner than expected, but the preparation and discipline it took to reach that level stayed with him — sharpening, not fading.
"Dreams shift. Discipline stays."
That mindset — clarity, preparation, resilience — became the foundation he would carry into a different arena: helping families build and work to protect wealth with a long-term perspective.
Mastering Wealth Architecture at Merrill Lynch
At Merrill Lynch, Mike immersed himself in the structure behind wealth — how it’s built, how it’s protected, and how easily it can erode without precision.
His work focused on:
Tax-Advantaged Estate Planning
Multi-Generational Wealth Frameworks
Capital Strategy for Executives and Founders
Through advanced training at the Merrill Lynch Professional Development Program and the School of Advanced Financial Management, he sharpened the skills needed to deliver clear, disciplined strategies in high-stakes environments.
One truth stood out:
"Most wealth isn’t lost in the markets. It’s lost in the structure underneath."
The lesson became clear:
Earning wealth is one battle. Working to protect it — structurally and with durability in mind — is another.
Bringing Insight to Action: CBS/KYW News Analyst
Even as Mike advised private clients, he understood a larger truth: Financial clarity shouldn't be confined to boardrooms.
For 13 years, alongside his advisory work, he served as a financial analyst for CBS News and its affiliates — translating market volatility, economic policy, and broader financial shifts into practical, accessible insights for a national audience.
"Knowledge without clarity is noise. Clarity without action is wasted."
The goal was never to predict markets —
it was to empower better decisions, wherever they mattered most.
Breaking Free: Founding AGS Financial Group
Success brought recognition. It also exposed a deeper truth:
"The system wasn’t broken. It was built that way. And it wasn’t built for clients."
In 1996, Mike founded AGS Financial Group — an independent advisory firm for those unwilling to accept conflicted advice or standardized solutions.
AGS quietly advised institutions, executives, entrepreneurs, and families who
valued protection, clarity, and a focus on long-term strategies over products and sales.
It wasn’t the destination. It was the first step toward building something larger — a platform where loyalty belonged to the client, and strategy endured beyond market cycles.

The Birth of ERX Wealth Partners: Raising the Standard
The idea for ERX Wealth Partners began with a conversation that struck a chord.A trusted physician friend confided:
"Mike, we’re being taken advantage of financially. You could make a real difference for people like us."
He was right.
ERX Wealth Partners was founded to address that gap — not to push products or chase the latest investment fads, but to help clients design strategies that are disciplined, clear, and built with their long-term vision in mind.
Today, ERX focuses on:
Tax-Optimized, Multi-Generational Wealth Planning – Helping families create and maintain structures designed for efficient estate transfer.
Liquidity and Succession Strategies – Assisting business owners and families in preparing for transitions while maintaining control.
Adaptive Financial Ecosystems – Building integrated plans intended to withstand and adapt to changing economic and political landscapes.
At ERX, the work is personal. It’s about understanding each client’s goals, protecting what matters most to them, and helping them move forward with clarity and confidence.
Advocacy Rooted in Purpose: Defending Healthcare Leaders
As ERX grew, so did Mike’s recognition of a larger mission.
Physicians — the guardians of public health — were financially exposed.
Mike’s commitment expanded beyond private clients — leading him to serve on the Board of Governors for the Florida Medical Association (FMA), where he championed financial literacy and long-term protection for physicians.
Because when physicians thrive, entire communities thrive.

Advocacy Beyond Wealth
Mike’s commitment to building better futures runs even deeper.
Autism at Work: Advocacy Born from Experience
For Mike Giongo, advocacy for neurodivergent individuals isn’t theoretical. It’s personal.
Through his own family’s journey, he came to see what many overlook: that brilliance often hides behind assumptions, and that potential is too often constrained by misunderstanding.
His work is shaped by a simple belief: Neurodivergent individuals don’t need accommodation. They need recognition — and opportunity.
Elevating their talents isn’t just the right thing to do. It’s how a better world is built.
NFLPA & NFL Alumni: Giving Back Beyond the Game
Mike Giongo’s commitment to athletes — and the communities they serve — didn’t end when the game did.
Through his ongoing involvement with the NFL Players Association and the NFL Alumni Association, Mike helps former players transition from competition to lasting success, applying the same principles of structure, strategy, and resilience that shaped his own career.
Both organizations also facilitate outreach programs that connect former players to their communities — turning visibility into impact and leadership into legacy.
True leadership isn’t measured by where you finish. It’s measured by who rises because you showed up.
Home: Rooted in Family and Purpose
Today, Mike Giongo lives in Chester County, Pennsylvania, with his family and their beloved Pit Bull, Winnie G.
He values life’s simple joys — building memories, exploring new places, and finding inspiration in everyday moments. These experiences shape his perspective and drive his commitment to providing thoughtful, customized guidance that helps clients make confident, informed decisions about their financial lives.
For many, true wealth goes beyond numbers — it’s found in the legacies they create and the futures they prepare for.
This is the path Mike has chosen — a journey defined by purpose, grounded in values, and dedicated to helping others build with clarity, discipline, and care.
